Logelloop 5.5 est une mise à jour majeure qui apporte de nombreuses améliorations et une grande quantité de nouvelles fonctionnalités de live looping ainsi que la correction de quelques bugs.  

Désormais, si vous n’avez pas de licence pro, l’application démarre dans le mode LE (Learning edition). La version LE, donne accès aux fonctions de base. La liste des limitations de la version LE se trouve ici. Vous pouvez nous demander une licence provisoire d’évaluation de la version PRO et mettre à jour vers cette version à n’importe quel moment. 

Les réglages audio se font désormais dans le panneau “Audio settings” qui se trouve dans le menu File/Fichier. Le raccourci clavier pour ce panneau est cmd/ctrl + ; 

Dans ce nouveau panneau de préférences audio, vous aurez aussi accès à des réglages comme la durée maximale de boucles, le nombre de pistes (1 à 10) et le  nombre de banques du Looper principal (de 1 à 3). C’est également dans Audio settings que sont défini le nombre de canaux auxiliaires (jusqu’à 16 canaux auxiliaires), les activations d’inserts, les routings d’entrées et de sorties, les réglages de l’enregistreur de sorties…

Le panneau qui sert à la configuration des commandes MIDI et l’ensemble des réglages d’option s’ouvre désormais sans que le moteur audio ne soit arrêté, la configuration d’un projet est donc plus confortable.

À cela s’ajoute bon nombre d’amélioration de l’interface de Logelloop : vous pouvez cacher les réglages de vitesse, pitch, stretch du looper principal, vous pouvez isoler certaines pistes lors du rappel des mémoires de scènes, nous avons également ajouté un panneau d’édition des inserts chargés dans les mémoires de scènes. Dans ce panneau, il vous est possible de copier et coller des réglages d’inserts d’une mémoire de scène à une autre. Vous pourrez également y choisir si l’insert est visible ou non lorsque vous appelez la mémoire de scène.

Du côté du looper modulaire, la nouvelle option “Only change speed if there is no audio” permet de charger une mémoire de scène dans laquelle la vitesse des loopers est différente, sans prendre le risque d’entendre des glissendi si les loopers contiennent du son. Les changements de vitesse ne seront effectifs qu’au moment du remplacement du contenu audio. 

Il est possible de copier et coller une sélection de boucle d’un looper à l’autre ou vers le Granulaterre. 

Les inserts acceptent désormais des commandes générées par des contrôleurs MIDI qui fonctionnent de la même manière que s’il s’agissait de Notes MIDI, les LFO ont pris de la liberté, ils peuvent maintenant s’affranchir du métronome avec le mode unsynced et possèdent trois modes random.

Logelloop 5.5 est une mise à jour gratuite et recommandée pour tous les utilisateurs de Logelloop 5. Les notes de modifications détaillées sont disponibles ci-dessous.
