2x Midi to Matrix?

Hey,

I have a couple of instances of Matrix.
Would like to use one midi controller with 2 Matrices.
Assignments will be done exclusively, i.e. a single CC is only mapped into 1 matrix at a time.
There is never a situation where a CC would drive two matrices at the same time.

I configured midi settings so that I have two assignments:
Controller 1 ⇀ Matrix 1
Controller 1 ⇀ Matrix 2

But C1 is only sending signals to M1, not M2.
Any ideas how to work around it?

It’s even a bit weirder.
I can’t seem to do it with learning, but I can pre-program 2 Matrices to take inputs from 1 controller.
I seems that whatever Matrix is the last in midi mapping configurations, this matrix will get midi learn inputs.
