    Hey,
I’ll use this thread to share ideas and suggestions as I dig through the software.

LL has the wonderful inputs panel. It’s great and I used my midi mappings via Matrix to use expression pedals to control input level faders and premix my inputs. I’d love to use premixed in the modules/plugins.

When I used modular loopers, the signal is sent through that Inputs module, and levels set there are reflected.

However, when I use Granulaterre or Granular, the inputs are taken directly and only configurable in the respective plugin.
I think it would be great to unify the routings. I did not find a way to actually work around it and use sends or input configs to capture pre-mixed inputs signal in these plugins.

#4 Matrix not remembering learned midi mappings
I discovered that Matrix does not currently save learned midi mappings, and haven’t found much about it in the documentation.
Am I missing something? If I wanted to save midi mappings, how would I go about it? Is there a way to add default mappings to a macro?

Re #4 – Saving learned midi mappings in Matrix, I found in one of examples:

It is possible to set the midi mappings by list
arguments are itemID midiInputType midiNote midiChannel
    	SendData midiMappingByList 3 cc 16 11 6 cc 2 11 8 cc 3 11
    	SendData midiMappingByList 11 cc 16 11 12 cc 2 11 13 cc 3 11

    So I’m set.

Here’s a suggestion for the UI side of things.
I often find myself staring at the mixer colors and getting blind-sighted.
The reason for that is stark contrast because of AUX sends color codings combined with huge amount small identical items.
Color coding is great. But altering the backgrounds instead of text color would make it way more comprehensible at a glance, and less fatiguing.
This approach is already implemented in Acousmonium.

Here’s a comparison between current mixer color coding and how it looks with background approach.
