In version 6.4, we have paid particular attention to optimising the software’s overall performance. Furthermore, we have optimised the internal mappings, which are now more efficient. These optimisations are designed to improve the user experience on older or less powerful machines.

This version includes a significant number of new features, reflecting our ongoing commitment to making the software easier to use. We are also working to make it easier and quicker to create new projects. Now, with just a few clicks, you’ll be able to generate sound.

Logelloop 6.4 includes the Key Mapper, a new data plug-in that allows you to assign computer keyboard keys to any Logelloop function. Like the MIDI Mapper, it offers the option to execute a different action for pressing, releasing or holding down a key. Combining these actions makes it easy to create macro functions with just a few clicks.

We have expanded the number of available mapping points, enabling control over virtually all of Logelloop’s functions. For example, it is now possible to open and close module windows by mapping the computer keyboard or a MIDI controller.

The newly introduced multi-mapping feature allows you to control several user interfaces simultaneously using a single mapping declaration. Once a user interface has been mapped, its mapping name is displayed in the Data plug-in. For example, to control several Mute buttons, rename the mapping to “trk {1-5} mute” to affect the Mute buttons on tracks 1 to 5. Similarly, to affect the Mute buttons on tracks 1, 3, 5, the syntax is “trk {1.3.5} mute”.

You can now reset a user interface by double-clicking on it. The Reset option is also accessible from the MIDI and Key Mappers.

The Looper, File Player and Delay Pitch SFX modules now offer greater autonomy thanks to the inclusion of an output level fader control. This feature will prove particularly useful when using them as inserts in parallel mode.

The Granulaterre has undergone significant improvements. In Beat Synced mode, start-up is now synchronised with the first beat of the metronome, and the stop takes effect at the end of the pattern. Furthermore, the number of beats, the BPM and the subdivision are now stored within the patterns, allowing these settings to be modified when changing patterns.

Granular and Granulaterre now feature an input mute function, which is invaluable for managing audio workflows during overdub recording.

The macro editor now opens by default in dark mode, although it is possible to switch back to light mode via the project settings. Furthermore, if an error is detected, the cursor is automatically positioned on the relevant line, thereby optimising the user experience.

There are also a number of other minor new features and a long list of bug fixes.
You will find the full list below.
