Logelloop celebrates its 20th anniversary on May 3, 4 and 5!
On May 3, 4 and 5, it’s party time at Logelloù! We’re celebrating 20 years of using Logelloop software, our real-time sound creation tool. We’ll start on Friday 3rd with an evening in memory of Michel Aumont, who was the first to use Logelloop on stage, and whose musical composition for clarinet strongly influenced the software’s first features.
20 years ago today, Michel Aumont was the first to use Logelloop!

It was at Carré Magique, in Lannion, directed at the time by Roger Le Roux, Solange Grégam and Dominique Maréchal. Souffles en Boucles was Michel’s first solo for clarinet and looper, and I suggested spatializing the loops on an 8-speaker system. Michel had composed the basis of the music on the
Yannick Jory plays mantra for saxophone and Logelloop
Yannick Jeanno Jory, an outstanding saxophonist, plays with Logelloop and produces the music of a breath… This mantra is the introductory song to the energy healing sessions given to Yannick by his friend Rose. Here, Logelloop sends commands to the drum machine and, rhythmically, the two are synchronized.
Call for electroacoustic work with Logelloop – 2024
In 2024, the Logelloù will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the first public use of Logelloop. Logelloù is therefore directing this year’s call to the composition of a real-time electroacoustic piece using Logelloop software. The idea is to compose a piece with Logelloop lasting a minimum of 15 to 20 minutes, and perform it as a solo, duo, trio or quartet, with musicians playing monophonic or polyphonic acoustic instruments.
